The fourth edition of ‘CHEFS(R)EVOLUTION’, the Dutch avant-garde cuisine festival, will take place on Sunday 9th and Monday 10th of September 2018 in and around De Librije and Theater De Spiegel in Zwolle. The event is organised by Jonnie and Thérèse Boer and team of Restaurant De Librije in collaboration with the team of Port Culinaire von Thomas & Carola Ruhl. The world’s best chefs will perform during this culinary festival.
During the CHEFS(R)EVOLUTION demonstrations these international chefs will present their cuisine and personal qualities. Each day the chefs will take the stage to impress and inspire you with interactive demonstrations. Presentation is in the capable hands of Hans Steenbergen, trend watcher / chief editor of Food Inspiration.
BOERenmarkt XL (FARMers market)
In addition to the international cooking demonstrations, you are very welcome to join the freely accessible BOERenmarkt XL where you can get acquainted with the rich variety of Dutch products and ingredients. Discover the (wine) farmers and Jonnie and Thérèse Boer’s various traditional suppliers accompanied by a fine selection of (Alliance Gastronomique ) chefs. In collaboration with Dutch Cuisine, we approach an (Alliance Gastronomique) restaurant per province, a total of twelve restaurants. These chefs will prepare the most delicious little dishes. The perfect treat of culinary creations and matching wines for a great price.
Unique cooking contest
Just like the previous edition, unique cooking contests will be part of the programme. The participants, selected beforehand through pre-registration, will explore the wider region, using a map on which a few places have been marked by Jonnie Boer. The participants will collect ingredients at these locations that they will use in their menu, with the intention to win over an international top chef jury with their dishes.
